Google Analytics Launches New favicon this morning. This is a nice new favicon, definitly much better than the generic lower-case “g” they launched a bit earlier. Also it’s great to have different favicons for different Google services so that it’s easier to navigate amongst my browser tabs.
Björn & Linus moved on!
So last summer was a blast, we launched a Facebook application (Reb me! – Install it if you haven’t), we learned a lot about social networks and I hope we made Rebtel just a little bit better.
Rebtel is doing great btw – and the business seems better than ever. For me and Björn we moved on to other adventures. I (Linus) is working with Bobex in Belgium and Björn is with veosearch.com. Check our new places out and you can also read more about what I’m doing at my blog.
Trading an eraser
Inspired by the red paper clip trading, we’ve decided to try the trading business as well. Starting with a simple red eraser, we’re now in the hunt for a trading to something new. So, if you’ve got something laying around that you’re not really using, but would like to trade for a lovely eraser, give me a call (if in Sweden, call 0707166279, if not, click here)

Check – done that!
Russel Shaw of ZDnet calls for a Skype Me or similar VOIP app. Well, Skype actually did an app they call “Skype me” – but it’s only a presence notification. What we managed to whip together is an app that actually does what the author asks for (and it’s called Reb Me 
).
Rebtel launches user development of our facebook application!
Yes! We’ve launched the application – we’ve gone all public, press releases are out, the heat is on and all that! It’s a buzz in the Rebtel office about Facebook, and you can see many screens lit up by the familiar blue and white interface.
So… what now? Well, we decided to let the users decide. After all -
a computer is a stupid machine with the ability to do incredibly smart things, while computer programmers are smart people with the ability to do incredibly stupid things…
Conspiracy! Bush loves Usama
Many people and organizations have tried linking Usama and Bush together, looking back at the time when Bush was heading oil companies sponsored by the Usama family or when Bush senior helped the talibans to get the russians out of Afghanistan, and so on.
But it’s only until today that we’ve got proof of their friendship! Recent research indicates to close connections between them. A major investigation made by yours truely can now expose them as FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK!

Can we live without IT?
All day long I sit by the computer with my cellphone strapped to the ear. I can’t say that this was the way I entended it to be, but I also need to express that I’m not really sad about it. Therefore, I went hunting for others who are worse than me. And where did I find them? On the web of course…
EU cuts roaming
Go EU! However, the cap is still 46 euro cents, which means that to call my girlfriend and say the basic “I miss you” could still easily cost me a couple of euros. Let’s challenge this further, right?
Back from conference!
As Björn wrote, I’ve been away at a conference for a couple of days. It was a really intense experience to be with 120 people out in the forrest of Finland discussing leadership for 5 days.
Anyway – coming back from such an experience makes you think how to keep in touch with the people you meet?
Maybe answering machine messages aren’t the best – but it’s sure good to know that I can call them
